English Translation
This week, I’m introducing phrases and words in JSL related to events.

Today I’ll be introducing-
“It is October 4.”

This can be used to answer yesterday’s question, “When is your birthday?”

With your left hand, you sign the number of the month-
10

And with your right hand, you sign [月] like this. [That Kanji can be read as gatsu (Month) or tsuki (Moon).]

Then the number, whichever number that is, represents the day. [This should be signed below the month, at the level where [月] was signed.]

My birthday is October 4 which is why I tried to sign it.

With that said, this is Daily Video+!

September 25, 2020 (Friday)

Good morning, everyone!

And to everyone whose birthday is today-
Happy birthday!

When you remember a time when you felt happy, your heart feels relaxed.

But, there are some things I can’t bring myself to think about.

When it was tough, sad, painful; I’m sure I can’t bring myself to remember because it hurts.

When that happens, it’s okay to slow down to your own pace. You don’t need to force yourself to laugh if it still hurts.

I hope you’ll be able to be happy!

And now, it’s time for-
Fortune-telling!

Try to touch something that’s fluffy.

You’ll be able to feel a warmth in your heart!

To stay healthy today, remember to wash your hands, gargle properly, and remember to have fun!

The schedule for today is-
Here~

And then, as always-
Let’s do our best today!
